Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping both cyber risk and the insurance landscape, creating new exposures while transforming how brokers and carriers operate.
AI-driven phishing, ransomware, deepfake fraud and automated attacks are accelerating claims activity and increasing pressure on underwriting, risk assessment and security controls. At the same time, AI is creating meaningful opportunities for brokers to work more efficiently, communicate more clearly and deliver stronger, proactive client advice.
In this session, participants will gain a practical view of how AI is influencing cyber threats, claims, underwriting and day-to-day broker workflows, helping you stay ahead in an increasingly AI-driven world.
We will explore
-
How AI is transforming cyber threats, including phishing, ransomware, business email compromise and deepfake fraud
-
The impact of AI on cyber claims, underwriting expectations and evolving insurance requirements
-
Practical ways brokers can use AI to improve efficiency, accuracy and client experience
-
Best practices for using AI safely and responsibly in an insurance environment; and more!
Please note: This presentation is accredited for 1 CE hour in Ontario (Technical), British Columbia (General/P&C), and Alberta (General/P&C).
